Silfreed.net started out on tripod at http://silfreed.tripod.com. It eventually moved to its own domain and has been here since 2000.

Douglas E. Warner (the site's owner - silfreed) has been an Internet enthusiast since 1997. A co-founder of Gaia Web Designs and avid HTML3 coder, Doug enjoyed designing feature-rich sites that brought users the content they needed quickly and easily.

Fast forward to 2007 and Doug is now an Information Architect with background and experience in a variety of Internet systems.
