===Introduction===
I've gotten myself a http://palm.com/products/handhelds/tungsten-t/ Palm Tungsten T. So far it's everything I ever wanted in a handheld:
~-small
~-light
~-powerful
~-did I mention small and light?
I've found it to be the perfect replacement to my kludgy Compaq iPAQ 3650.

===Background===
I've had a Palm before (Palm IIIx), which was my first introduction into the world of handheld computing. I loved it; address book, appointments, notes, alarms, passwords - everything in a small little package. Best - no transferring information from notebook to notebook at the end of the year.
Then, I decided I wanted more Multimedia capabilities (plus the lure of loading http://handhelds.org Linux on my handheld was very
nice as well) so I got a Compaq iPAQ 3650. I could do wireless w/ the PCMCIA sleeve and my Orinico wireless card, listen to MP3s, and look at pictures. It was everything I thought I'd ever want - I thought.
It was big. I mean it - for awhile I carried it in my pocket, but then I just started carrying it. After about 6 months, I realized I didn't really use it that much. Apps weren't available for it like on the Palm platform, and if they were, they cost money (usually $20-$30 - the same as a desktop app). I needed something small, but powerful. What could it be?

===Review===
The Tungsten T has turned out to be everything I wanted. Even my http://gnukeyring.sf.net Keyring (passwords) app was back. I found that I really missed the Palm Platform, and the Tungsten T made everything right again. Besides having support for most Palm OS 3-4 apps, it was color, hi-resolution, and fast. I'm sure you can find other reviews out there, so I'll just get to the pictures. If you can't, there's a link down at the bottom for a full review.
I think it's also worth mentioning (even though I don't have any screenshots here, sorry) that I don't use the default Palm launcher - and I also might say that it really irks me that Palm hasn't upgraded their launcher since OS 3 (maybe older - I started using the Palm Platform in OS 3). I shouldn't have to buy a launcher that has support for the SD Card built in; it should just be there. Instead I use http://launcherx.com/launcherx/ LauncherX - the descendant of LauncherIII which I used to use and love on my Palm IIIx.

My first sight of a real-live TungstenT. I had never seen one - not even in a store.

This is what the Palm looks like side-by-side with itself open and closed

Ooo! The Back!

And if you need proof that the TungstenT is really smaller than the iPAQ, here it is.

ahh. The Palm in its new home. It even syncs in Linux w/ kernel 2.4.21 (-pre currently).
